Welcome to Harmonia Landscaping!
1. Definitions
- “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Harmonia Landscaping.
- “You”, “Your”, “Client” refers to the individual or household receiving our services.
- “Services” refers to all landscaping services we offer, including lawn renovation, lawn care, new lawns, and patio installations.
2. Acceptance of Terms
Your agreement to these Terms is automatic upon scheduling the work and allowing it to commence. These Terms are also referenced on your invoice. If you do not agree, you must inform us in writing prior to work starting.
3. Quotations and Payments
- All quotations are valid for 30 days.
- A deposit may be required to secure a start date.
- Full payment terms are agreed upon prior to scheduling and must be followed.
- Late payment will be treated as a breach of contract. Clients accept that such breaches will be subject to enforcement under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, even in B2C scenarios.
4. Cancellation and Delays
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the start date may incur a charge.
- We are not responsible for delays due to weather, supply issues, or other events outside our control.
5. Site Conditions and Utilities
- The client is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the site.
- All underground utilities are the client’s responsibility. While we follow British Standards for detection, particularly in older properties utilities may be near the surface.
- We are not liable for damage caused to unidentified or incorrectly marked services. Any costs to repair such damage are solely the client’s responsibility.
6. Warranty
- All workmanship is carried out to high standards.
- Patio installations are covered by a 5-year warranty against installation faults.
- Lawn installations and other services carry a 12-month warranty unless stated otherwise.
- Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, poor maintenance, pests, or extreme weather conditions.
7. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- We do not accept liability for damage arising from circumstances beyond our control.
8. Late Payments and Debt Recovery
8.1 Terms of Payment
Payment terms are agreed before work begins and must be adhered to. Any late or withheld payments will be treated as a breach of contract.
8.2 Late Payment Act (1998)
While we serve domestic (B2C) clients, by proceeding with our services you accept that any overdue invoices will be enforced under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, including:
- Interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily.
- Statutory compensation:
- £40 for invoices up to £999.99
- £70 for invoices between £1,000 and £9,999.99
- £100 for invoices of £10,000 and above
8.3 Recovery Costs
Clients are liable for all reasonable recovery costs we incur, including:
- Debt collection agency fees
- Legal fees and court costs
- Enforcement officer or tracing agent costs
9. Promotional Media (Video & Photography)
We may record photos and video footage of our completed work to showcase our craftsmanship. This content may be used for marketing purposes on our website, social media, and digital/print materials.
- By accepting our services, you consent to such recordings.
- If you do not wish for media of your property to be used, you must notify us in writing via email before the work is completed.

10. Use of Website
The content on our website is for informational purposes only and may be updated or modified without notice.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, images, and materials on our website are owned by or licensed to Harmonia Landscaping and must not be copied or reused without permission.
