Changes to These Terms
Complaints
Debt Recovery, Interest & Costs
1. Late Payment Interest
If you fail to pay any amount due under this Agreement by the due date, we shall be entitled to charge interest on the overdue sum at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily from the due date until payment in full, whether before or after judgment.
2. Statutory Compensation
In addition to interest under clause X.1, you will owe us the fixed statutory compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998:
• £40 for debts up to £999.99
• £70 for debts between £1,000 and £9,999.99
• £100 for debts of £10,000 or more
3. Recovery Costs
You agree to reimburse us for all reasonable costs and expenses we incur in recovering any overdue sums, including (but not limited to):
• Fees charged by any debt collection agency
• Legal fees, court fees, barristers’/solicitors’ fees
• Tracing-agent fees, enforcement-agent fees (e.g. High Court Enforcement Officers)
4. Incorporation by Reference
